  • 5 star review  Excellent customer service from Gabby! We were anxious about eating vegetarian and we shouldn't have been. Amazing array of flavours in just the right quantities. Made a great change to the usual westernised Indian food here in the UK. Book as it's always sold out.

  • 5 star review  Incredibly delicious Indian food like you've never had before. We tried 6 different dishes and each one was just as tasty as the last. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Great selection of carefully chosen wines and local beers. But the best bit for me was the friendly staff, they are extremely passionate about their food and ethos. We'll be back soon!

Book in advance ( small numbers only) and stay committed to your booking. You won't regret it. I took my vegetarian in laws who loved the whole experience.   • 5 star review  Visited with a friend. We were peckish but not starving. The staff helped us to choose the right number of dishes, all of which were excellently flavoured and spiced. The owners told us their inspiring story and it made for a wonderful experience. Will come again!

  • 5 star review  I think the best Indian food I've ever tasted. Freshly prepared exquisite dishes carefully presented and described in detail. Very friendly owners with extensive knowledge of the food and how best to eat it. Just make sure to book will in advance for evening sittings. It's possible to just turn up for the lunch serving but no guarantee of space! Please visit this wonderful place. It is amazing.

  • 5 star review  Hard to get a rez at Manju’s and it’s clear why. Brighton has a wide array of great Indian Restaurants but this has immediately become one of my favourites. We had a convo last night about how a good vegetarian restaurant barely needs to mention it’s vegetarian. It’s good regardless and this is such a case. Put it toe to toe with a meaty curry and it’s still probably coming out on top. The chutneys are the best I’ve ever had too, you NEED the papad.

  • 5 star review  We had read about Manjus and were excited to visit.We had the GUJARATI THALI lunch, which is a platter with 10 different dishes... all decided by the owners mother who acts at the chef who decides what meals will be served and creates the recipes. Then her daughter in law is head chef and her two sons man the floor. So a truly family run business. The food was fresh, clean, vibrant, flavoursome truly excellent. Service was great. Decor was beautiful especially the silver service. The wine was all of extremely high quality
